When winnings reach your balance

A challenge settles at 12:00 UTC two days after its last day. That gap gives every player at least a full day for a late watch sync. Until then, the challenge shows a WRAPPING UP badge under Profile, Challenge History.

At settlement, each finisher's share of the pool goes into their balance. That share includes your own stake back. So if you staked $100 and your share is $110, you won $10 on top of your stake, and all $110 is yours to cash out.

How to cash out, step by step

Open the Wallet tab and tap Cash Out.
Pick PayPal or your US bank account.
The first time, add your PayPal email or your bank's routing and account numbers.
Read the confirmation. It shows any fee and the amount you'll receive.
Confirm. The success screen repeats the amount sent and any fee.

A routing number is nine digits. You'll find it on a check or in your bank's app. Before your first bank cash-out, Steppa's bank partner checks the details you saved.

How much you can cash out

A cash-out sends your whole cashable balance. There's no amount to pick and no field to type one into. A few rules shape what goes out:

The minimum is $25. A payout below it is never sent.
Limits: up to $500 in any 24 hours, $2,000 in any 7 days, and 3 payouts in any 24 hours. These roll from the time of each payout, not from midnight, and a failed payout doesn't count.
Over the limit: Steppa sends as much as the limit allows and keeps the rest in your wallet. With a $620 balance and no recent payouts, $500 goes out now and the other $120 waits until the 24 hours have passed.
Promo credit stays. You can spend promo credit on entries, but you can't cash it out. While you hold some, the Wallet tab shows how much is eligible for cash out right under your total balance.

Use your own PayPal account. Payouts to someone else's PayPal, a partner's or a parent's, aren't allowed.
Match the email exactly. PayPal pays the email address saved under Wallet, Payment & payout methods. It has to be the address you log in to PayPal with.
Enter details only in the app. Steppa never asks for bank details, card numbers or a PayPal password by email or in chat.
